How To Get Started
If you’d like to sign up for our program, step one is to attend our informational meetings. These take place the Wednesday before the start of each program, and at this point, you can apply to be a part of the next workshop and be interviewed by our team to establish whether we’re a good fit for you. Here are the steps to follow:
1) Carefully review the eligibility requirements above. Call our office if you have questions about eligibility (205-545-5000).
2) If possible, attend an information meeting the Wednesday before the class begins. Call our office for the date of the next meeting and to sign up. (If you cannot attend a meeting, call our office to schedule a time to come by and meet with us and pick up an application.)
3) At the information meeting you will learn about the program, fill out an application, and be interviewed by a WorkFaith staff member.
4) Once your application is reviewed and you have been interviewed, you will officially be enrolled in the program.
Important: Missing any part of the two-weeks will require you to drop out of the workshop and reschedule for another one. Make sure you don't have any scheduling conflicts that will prevent you from attending each of the 10 days of the workshop.
